The Activity Page in Chatavise gives you a clear view of all events being sent from Jobber to your account. This page is useful for verifying that your integration is working correctly and for troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
This guide explains what the Activity Page shows, how to interpret the data, and how to use it when you need help from the Chatavise team.
What Is the Activity Page?
When you connect your Jobber account in the Accounts tab, Jobber begins pushing events to Chatavise. These events include actions like:
- Requests created
- Jobs created
- Visits created, updated, or completed
- Final visits completed
- Quotes created or approved
These events trigger workflows inside Chatavise — for example, sending appointment reminders, follow-up messages, or review invites. The Activity Page is where you can confirm that Jobber is successfully sending these events to your account.
Understanding the Activity Table
The Activity Page displays a table with all incoming events from Jobber. Each row includes:
- Action name — the type of event (e.g., Visit Created, Job Created)
- Date — when the event was received
- Status — whether the event was processed successfully or encountered an issue
You can expand any row to view the payload — the raw data Jobber sent with that event. This is helpful for troubleshooting or verifying that the correct information is being passed through.
How to Use the Activity Page for Troubleshooting
If something isn't working as expected — for example, a workflow didn't trigger or a message wasn't sent — the Activity Page can help you identify the issue.
- Open the Activity tab for your Jobber integration.
- Look for the event that should have triggered your workflow.
- Click the dropdown arrow to expand the event and view the payload.
- If you need assistance, click Copy to copy the payload data.
- Click the Help button, select Contact Us, and paste the payload into the description field.
This gives the Chatavise support team the exact information they need to diagnose the issue quickly.
Replaying Events
If an event didn't process correctly the first time, you can replay it directly from the Activity Page.
- Find the event you want to replay.
- Click Replay.
- Chatavise will reprocess the event as if Jobber had just sent it.
This is useful if a temporary issue prevented an event from triggering its workflow correctly.
When to Check the Activity Page
You don't need to monitor the Activity Page regularly — it's designed as a troubleshooting tool. However, it's worth checking if:
- You're not receiving expected messages or reminders
- A workflow doesn't seem to be triggering
- You want to verify that your Jobber connection is active
If the Activity Page is blank after connecting your Jobber account, this may indicate a connection issue. Reach out to support using the Help button so the Chatavise team can investigate.
