This release introduces exciting feature enhancements, useful automations, and important fixes to make Chatavise even more powerful and user-friendly. Version 2025.8.1 expands your ability to personalize communication, gather recipient data for smarter campaigns, and automate actions based on customer interactions.


Key Updates in 2025.8.1

1. Enhanced Message Variables

  • Access message variables in any message text area via the hashtag icon or the new direct button.

  • Search variables across all categories for faster results.
    Example: Search “First Name” or “Website Link” to find and insert the correct variable instantly.

  • Improves usability from previous versions for quicker message personalization.

2. Auto-Tagging Survey Responses

  • In Surveys, you can now automatically tag recipients based on their answers.
    Example: If a recipient answers “No pets,” auto-tag them with Needs Pets.

  • Use these tags as filters in future SMS campaigns for more targeted and relevant messaging.

  • Great for segmenting recipients based on interests, services, or preferences captured in surveys.

3. New Workflow Trigger – Short Link Click

  • Added both Activation Trigger and Reaction Trigger for Short Link Click events.

  • Chatavise short links are fully trackable—not just by click count, but by who clicked.

  • Trigger workflows without sending a text—useful for:

    • Auto-tagging contacts

    • Assigning team members

    • Preparing targeted future campaigns

  • Helps optimize engagement while minimizing opt-outs.

4. New Permission – Remove Google Review Replies

  • Users with the new permission can now remove Google review replies directly.

  • No need to replace with a new reply—delete it entirely when needed.

  • Permission is controlled in the Permissions page.
